I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor living and working in the Scottish Borders.

Over the years I have worked therapeutically with people of different ages- adults, young people, and primary aged children. I’ve come to realise that when working with adults it’s often their teenage years that have come up as a particularly challenging and stressful time. I have supported clients to think about where they’re at, how they really feel, how to navigate changing relationships with family, friends, flatmates. By understanding yourself better you can see your situation more clearly, you can accept yourself more and grow in confidence.

Before entering the counselling world I enjoyed working in FE colleges across central Scotland as a Spanish & Italian tutor. I also taught English as a foreign language during my year living in northern Spain. Helping my students learn and grow- and be the best they could be- was my favourite aspect of the job!

I have a Diploma in Human Relations and Counselling and am a Registered Member of the BACP.

My other qualifications are a PGCE (Secondary) in Spanish and Italian

a BA Hons in Spanish & Latin American Studies and a CELTA.
